PART 2 — THE BILLIONAIRE RECOGNIZED HER NECKLACE

Inside the ballroom of Arlington Manor, Julian became a completely different person.

He smiled confidently.

He shook hands with important guests.

He talked about business and success as if he had never known doubt.

Elena stood quietly nearby, watching the man she loved become someone who barely noticed her.

Then the doors opened.

The atmosphere changed instantly.

Richard Kensington entered the room.

A legendary businessman known around the world.

A man whose decisions could change the future of companies overnight.

Julian immediately walked toward him.

“Mr. Kensington, it’s an honor to have you here.”

Richard greeted him politely.

Then his eyes moved past Julian.

And stopped.

On Elena.

More specifically, on the necklace around her neck.

For a moment, the billionaire said nothing.

His face changed.

The confidence disappeared.

The years of experience and control vanished.

Because he recognized something he never thought he would see again.

The necklace.

Richard slowly stepped closer.

“Where did you get that?”

Elena looked down.

“I

don’t know. I’ve had it since I was a child.”

Beside Richard, his older sister Eleanor suddenly touched her own necklace.

Because she was wearing the other half.

A matching silver pendant.

The two pieces had been separated for thirty years.

Richard carefully removed his necklace and placed the two halves together.

They formed a complete sun.

The room became silent.

Julian watched, confused.

“What is happening?”

Richard barely heard him.

He was staring at Elena.

Thirty years of unanswered questions were standing right in front of him.
